Ouch! Just got the tax bill for the car

Was very pleasantly surprised that in the great state of North Carolina, a 1987 TVR is valued at $300 for tax purposes. Since road tax here is actually a property tax, my bill for the year is a whopping $18.94!! It really doesn't make sense to own anything else, right? That's what I told her anyway.
