Anyone weighed a bare 17" RL7?

What are they.. 17x8 et35?

How much would a straight set, new caps, paint 7/10 with 2 near new 255/40 Toyo rears be worth..? Fronts are nearing the end of their legal life.

Cant say much about weight but as I had a set to refurbish last year i looked at the cost of buying vs getting mine fixed. Refurbishing costs about £250 and and second hand prices seem to be about £350 often with reasonable tyres. 16" are cheaper still and sets seem to go for less than £100.

So about £300 might be reasonable..

Just need a weight.. They seem to be heavy bds.

That was said to be one of the benefits of the Sp12's, the lighter weight

I understand the RL7s are still significantly lighter than the cast cheese Spiders?

Yes they are.. They look great as well tbh. I think I just fancy something a little different really.

I'm getting a rear tyre replaced next week, so I'll have a weight for you then. The 17" RL7s certainly don't seem to be subjectively that heavy.

Cool..

Realise the tyre is bigger BUT.. As a comparison my old 17" M5 Throwing Stars weighed in at 17.8kg with 215/40 tyre. I weighed my rear RL7 with tyre and it came in at ~21kg iirc.. (Will need to confirm).

Weight of your bare wheel would be awesome cheers!

Not really I have both, both with the same eagle f1 tyres and they feel much the same when I change them over.
