I hope I am not starting an endless thread about Hendon Way but it seems that they now advertise their cars with a price on them, this is huge progress.

May be the angle, but the S badge looks a little offset to the right!! Is that an actual S?

Maybe the figure you see in the advert isn't the price but a meaningless number used to gain interest ..

The body of the advert says POA which I assume to mean Price on Application

An interesting question I guess is that having checked their website it seems they price some cars but not others, why is that ? This does not make a lot of sense.

It does if you have your car with them on sale or return. You have no idea what price they are marketing your car at.

Not sure I understand that. If they sell a car on an SOR basis and therefore act as an agent, the seller probably must sign the contract or the document selling the car and in that document the purchase price should be indicated. So I cannot see this being the reason.

I would never EVER advise anyone to leave a car or motorcycle with any dealer on SOR, after my experience with a main LONG ESTABLISHED (40 years) Triumph motorcycle dealer...(now defunct), who sold my bike the next day for full price, but never told me they had sold it.....I had a terrible time getting the agreed money off them. They went bust six months later.

Never again.

I had the same with a guitar shop in London. I put in some very valuable guitars with them and the VAT man closed them down a week later. It took nearly a year to get the guitars back. I'd never do ANY SOR again.
