Rust proofing firms, idealy in the East
Discussion
Hi,
I have done a search but am happy to be redirected.
I own the most unusual of things - a Mk1 Golf that has never been welded, nobody who has it up on ramps can believe it. So I want to protect it. I've done various searches on here and the internet and there is a wide variety of firms with a wide range of products and services at a wide vairety of costs. I remember reading, probably 15 years ago, Robert Croucher, I think, having his 356 rustproofed by a firm that went as far as removing headlamp bowls to coat the back of them and I haven't found one that detailed yet.
So, can anyone recommend a firm to clean the car and inject a suitable product into its cavities? I'm in Norwich so East would be better but I'm willing to travel.
BTW Car does the odd competitive outing so I wonder how much weight it will add? Those tubs of Dinitrol look heavy but I don’t know how much is solvent, or how much they use. However, protection more important than performance.
Cheers

Try these dudes in Hatfield, which is not too bad a schlep from Norwich.
