recommend me some GOOD warm gloves...

Hi chaps, i suffer badly from cold hands (and feet) and had a pretty decent pair of M&S skiing gloves but had to return them as they started splitting at some seams after just 6 weeks but they didn't have any more to replace them with so just got a refund.

the requirements are they need to be wind-proof and water-proof as well as WARM.

amazon seem to sell some but not sure on which really!

wind-proof and waterproof - would suggest motorcycle overmittens that fit over leather gloves.

For skiiing or just day-to-day wear?

Mrs zcacogp bought me a pair of leather gloves last year. They weren't that cheap but have been a complete revelation in cold weather. Warm, comfortable and waterproof without losing any sense of touch (as I found with man-made materials). Dry out quickly as well.

Mountain equipment G2 gloves
The search is over.
I work outdoors all day, everyday. These gloves are amazing, after illness left me with poor circulation these had boys keep my fingers functioning in sub-zero temperatures.

Sealskinz. http://www.sealskinz.com/ Do what they say on the tin, good construction, waterproof and windproof, but breathable. (Also not actually made from seals.)

Another for Sealskinz from me (use mine for winter cycling and skiing).

I have the boggo sealskins for on the bike and find them cold.
The bulkier gloves are warm, but erm, bulky!

I recommend a thin pair underneath a thicker waterproof outer. You layer up your body but people usually go for a single pair and wonder why the cold gets in. Two pairs mean you get insulation from the layer of trapped air between the inner and outers.

i've been doing this already

i suffer mild reynauds so no matter what i do the fingers get really cold, but obviously very decent gloves help

I have a pair of these, http://www.estore.tog24.com/mens/mens-accessories/... wore them in Finland last year at -28C with a pair of silk liners and were warm as toast.
