When I met with the ACO recently they said that they felt that because of the large numbers who attended last year that they had got the bands right.

I undersnd that one very famous band have turned them down!

A lot of those bands are French and apparently rather famous in France. So no surprise that there were a lot of people attending the concerts. But mostly French people. And ACO being French, they're right, they got the bands right.
For us English(minded) people though, they got it all wrong...

(Don't want to know what famous band turned them down)

Been going to LM since 1980 and I'm ONLY 60, however I do recognise a couple of those bands so maybe not such an old f*rt after all.

90 years certainly deserves a World Class band IMHO (having said that in all those years I have never seen any of the bands so who am I to say?)

Dave Gilmour is a petrol head ! and amazing live !

Better than UB40 anyway, ha ha ha that was a laugh... I didn't want to but I had a bottle of red whine that night. I didn't even attend the concert. Well, it didn't do any bad... The Stranglers seemed to be good but I missed them some years ago... Actually, I couldn't care less, as long as the cars are sounding ok. Have fun...
