Love these adverts:

WE CAN PUT THE CAR BACK TOGETHER AND MOT IT FOR ANOTHER £400

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-GRIFFITH-500-2000-W-...

Wasn't this for sale (pre crash!) last year (Reg x575xxx IIRC ?

yikesyikes I reckon that's my old Griff' weepingweeping I part-ex' it for a T350 in '04. It had silver wheels when I had it along with leather dash and door cards, turned alloy dash, MC1 cam and induction stuff, I did the rockers/plenum/alternator polish'n'paint and used to spend hours cleaning under that bonnet and it was a beautiful example and looked out for it since at Growls' etc. Saw it advertised last year looking a shadow of it's former self and the add ran something like, it had race cam's' and would do 180mph whistle
What a crying shame, [hope driver ok] As for who's selling it now, rolleyes Dreamland, and can't imagine anyone buying from them at their prices.

PS; I feel really saddened by those pictures.
PPS; hope my first Griff' is still around M600 TVR ??

Note they say insurance paid out £27450 but I bet the owner didn't get that amount or anywhere near it.

When my Mrs wrote off our Multipla in a slow speed rear-end shunt last year we got £1150 but I saw from my renewal that the total payout was £14,500. The other car was a shatty old Ford that wasn't worth more than £2000 tops so I would be interested to know who got the rest.

the dealer selling this car seems to have lots of up-dates on their classified ads lately as well. People must buy them or they wouldnt do it?

That includes injury claims and cost of dealing with the case ect..
As would the £27k that had been paid out in this the owner might have got 17k

thieving lawyers and injury claims rip offs.

i had a minor no fault shunt in a car a few years back, was pestered for a year by the "injury people"...no doubt i might have got a grand, no doubt "they" would have fleeced the other insurers for 10 grand in the process of getting it.
