dbs wheel damage

due to me having numerous years of driving cars with virtually no bonnet ,i've managed to kerb the front wheels on the dbs a few times and they need a refurb.Is there anything I need to be wary of (the r8 wheels could only be ground for example ) ,and if anyone can recommend a good mobile refurbisher in the northwest I'd be most grateful.

IIRC they are diamond cut so you will need them recutting to get the same finish
This can only be done a couple of times.
When mine need doing I'm going to pass up the diamond cut front face as it's not very durable and powder coat the whole wheel in"Smoked Chrome"
A lot more durable and easier to keep clean

Couldn't agree more - one of the probelems with diamond cut is the white markings that get between the face fo the wheel & the clear lacquer

That is moisture that corrodes the metal because the lacquer struggles to bond to the very smooth diamond cut surface and is easily lifted once it is damaged.
