As above; full fat so all the toys and both Cup packs...promised myself I'd scratch this itch ages ago after almost buying a new one a few years back and finally pulled my finger out last February. A long time lurker I thought I should join up and share smile

78k on the clock when I got it (mostly motorway miles from previous owners commute, which was why he had sold it. MOT certificates support the job location change story and the fuel computer average mpg was 35.8), so I was happy to pay £3k for it as it had new front Brembo disks\pads and new T1Rs all round...belts all done too. Previous owner was a amateur detailer so pretty anal and had had the front end resprayed, the thing was immaculate when I purchased it bar a couple of light kerb marks on two wheels. ITG panel filter and Bosch aero wiper conversion fitted but otherwise standard.

MOT was due a month later so I wound my neck in and left the thing alone 'til after the MOT in case there were any nasty surprises. An advisory for a rusty exhaust/shady exhaust hangers and that was it. Happy days, an excuse to swap the 'zorst; after reading Harry Metcalfs blog about the Scorpion RS192 system he fitted to his Trophy I was sold; not much louder than standard and reasonably priced too. Bought and fitted! I sorted the exhaust mounts too with some proflex hangers and lots of Tiger Seal, not pretty but robust biggrin

I was supposed to keep the thing standard as I have a major money pit that I've yet to finish; http://bbs.scoobynet.com/681471-wagon-fettle-45.ht... Predictably after a few weeks there were some bits that were irritating the hell out of me so I had a gentle fettle;
Privacy glass and sun strip fitted,
All external silver badges removed and painted gloss black,
Renault Sport and Clio badges removed and a new style Renault Sport badge painted black and fitted to cover the holes from the Clio badge,
Fog lamps painted yellow...it is French after all!
Massive bumper car aerial replaced with stubby Mazda MPS item.
Silvertech bulbs for front, rear and side indicators.
Private plate bought with clean number plates, front one has been reduced in size by 20mm so it fits in the plate aperture properly,
All the nasty silver trim on the dash, steering wheel and gearknob painted gloss black with new decals in body colour and new style Renault Sport logo on steering wheel...kinda wished I'd gone for silver as the yellow is a bit ghey,
Metal foot rest cover to match pedals,
Rear speakers replaced with three way Pioneers and front subs replaced too.
I cannot abide colour coded wing mirrors either so a set of black ones went on, I've kept the yellow ones for when I sell it.

So some pics as it stands...

Surprising spacious too wink

A real hoot to drive; so much so that in 5k miles I've managed to drop the average mpg down to 28.8 biggrin

Future plans;
Fix passenger electric window
Paint the silver Renault badge on the steering wheel black.
Fix the scraped rear arch from some ass-hats parking hit and run action.
De-cat and re-flash ECU

Would like to but not until the wagon is done;
Trophy Recaros
Trophy Turinis
Cup washer delets for the headlamp washers
V6\Trophy rear spoiler
colour code rubbing bullets and boot release push button

Cheers, Ian

that looks pretty cool, cant imagine there are many FF clios in yellow. also i thinking trying to get trophy seats and wheels will set you back a lot of money, some recaros are going for like £900 and the trophy turinis are like £400. you might find them cheaper but those are just some of the prices ive seen.

Nice.

I see a couple of these on the Hoddesdon industrial estate every other night when leaving work, really like the colour. I like the little touches you've made to it too, aside from the black details, I think I would have left them silver personally...

By far the best colour for these and one of my favourite colours of any car.

Trophy Recaros and Turinis would be perfect on it.

Lovely colour/car combo.

I think they sold something like 35, didn't they?

Mind you, LY was a £1,400 option IIRC.

yikes

I believe there are 77 182's in LY but don't know how many full fat ones. Worth the £1400 compared to a respray though! Haha
