34 mpg in a 997 TT - who needs a diesel to commute?
Discussion
I had hoped I could muster something better than the 19mpg epa highway driving rating for the 993 Turbo but with the lightest of foot I can barely manage 20mpgs (us gallons). Although I do not believe I've done worse than 17. Official city/highway is 13/19 worse than earlier turbos. Normally, with 70-80 mph driving as 80% of the time I get about 18.

Edinburgh to Aberdeen and Back sitting at app 75-80 with the occasional blast past cars and up to 'banning point' and I got 29.4mpg over 247 miles...delighted.
they really arent too bad on fuel.
