I went with two mates - me on the Multistrada ( and didn't see another one there) and the mates on Guzzis.
Didn't do the ride in, so got there early and parked in the main street.
It was a really good day when the weather cleared up and thousands of bikes about.
Nice place but thought that more of the shops would have opened up though.
Saw Eddie Kidd - tragic to see him so disabled and so young!

Lousy weather. There was an accident on the huge ride-in from Winfields carpark to the town centre - couldn't see what happened, I was on the footpath bridge over the A56 above the turnoff to Rawtenstall.
Selling the Chim for a few reasons. I've finally admitted that we need a bigger family car than a Corsa. I'm disappointed that I can't keep her but after writing my last car off the same day I picked up the Chim my insurance renewal is crippling. Even ringing around the best I can manage is £1250 (it's being used everyday so I had to declare 15k a year mileage.) The same in servicing and £60 a week in petrol, I just can't afford it as an everyday car and I can't afford to keep her for weekends coz I want another bike too.
I will be back eventually (can't keep away!) but probably look at something older and cheaper...
