help finding London based corporate photographer and studio?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction? I need to do a half or full day photo shoot for work quite urgently in London. I don't really know where to begin on finding a photographer or a studio that would do this and do a good job, Google gives so many "have a free makeover and we will take photos" type things I am not finding it much help though probably because I am not quite sure what I am searching for! We have graphics designers who will treat the images as we usually use stock images but I need some specific corporate shots of individuals against a white screen and I haven't had to do this before. We have meeting rooms we could potentially use as a location but I think a properly lit studio would be better. Could anyone recommend any London based photographers and/or studios who do this sort of work?

Also does anyone know a ball park figure for a half day/day shoot so that I can get some perspective over any quotes I get.

Lastly how do I handle copyright and usage? Do I need to agree usage with the photographer in advance?

If I have missed any vital info please let me know, as you can probably tell this is all new to me...

and yes, you will have to negotiate copyright terms at the start.

Hi Andy,
If you just want people against a white background it will be cheaper if you send them up the A12 to the Colchester area - I have a small but well-formed studio that should be fine. Some examples on my website > Social > Portraits. £75ph including processing, licence for your company to use on website, brochure etc.

Done Quite a fer commercial shoots, I'm quite happy to shoot at your choice of location. I do have a mobile studio, or quite happy to hire a studio in London.

Well another PHer has just checked in, had a load of stuff photographed in the Bloke Studios and gone off happy... but it wasn't the OP!

We decided that we were being a bit to optimistic for what we could achieve with the budget and the time in the end, so I had to reign in the 'creatives'!
