They pop up on eBay every now and again... this is your best bet I think. Usually sold by dealers who've swapped them for something else or the've got a slight mark on them and failed the PDI.

Cheers Arj, will do. Yeti, indeed - ebay has become a bit of a daily routine for me. It's an expensive job keeping an eye on ebay, I keep buying things! Quite why i bought this inflatable blonde passenger i'll never know.

You might get lucky with a dealer but the SP wheels changed in 2010 to the ones I have on my S now

Talking of acquiring new alloys, I have been looking at the set of DBS wheels on fleabay to fit to my DB9 Volante. Am I being naive thinking that if I shop around I could get them for less than £4.3k?

Also if you change wheels and tyres, do you need to contact your insurers first?

I guess it would depend on the insurer, but this random broker I found on google say yes:

Mate of mine changed the curbed allows on a VW for some identical, but Skoda-branded ones (he's a cheapskate, and they were less on ebay or wherever). His insurance company put his insurance up by a greater amount than he saved

If you're switching Aston for Aston I doubt it would have much effect, but who knows with insurance?

I paid I think £3k for mine with new Pirellis all round too. Might even have been 2600!

Depending on what year your Volante is, you might alo need new TPMS sensors as the late ones that come with the wheels might not tie in to your older Volante (if that's what you have) - this is what happened to me and cost another hundred quid per wheel
