0-200mph in 14.5 seconds

the hardest "hitting" car i have been in was the sl600 bi turbo which had ~590 lb ft at 2000rpm.

That was hard to comprehend at 14.The GTR i drove at a track day didnt feel as quick ,but this venom is more than twice the power and probably torque of the GTR and SL600.

Same sensation as Rita at alton towers this thing must be :O

Funny reading that article though... A Koenigsegg Agera does 0-186mph in 14.6 seconds. A completely standard, BMW S1000 RR does it in an alleged (but entirely believable) ~15 seconds.

You can get the bike for £8,000.

I'm not starting a car vs. bike thing here. But fking hell that's a fast bike.

How they get the traction from 2wd to deliver that time I don't know. Will be mega impressive if it is on Michelin road tyres.

Well, Guiness confirmed it, so you'd think they had done their research.

I was reading about this in the paper today, it's mind-bogglingly fast.

It pulls 1g through third, even at the top at 125mph, and passes 200mph at 0.4g. That's absolutely mental..

I remember being blown away by the stats for the Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette many moons ago.
Say what you will about the yanks, but my god they can make cars go fast!!

If I could have any car in the world right now, that would be it!

ETA having watched the video for the third time, there's a little wobble when he changes gear at ~180mph?! scary stuff!?

Erm yeah it's a motorbike, it probly weighs a bit more than the cars engine. Go figure why it's fast.

Why do people keep mentioning Koenigsegg?? I thought this article was about the Hennessey Venom GT? Or have I missed something
