driving down the M1 this morning noticed a marked Bib car flashing (via blue lights) middle lang hoggers then proceeding to move in front of them and flash the message "USE LEFT LANE" on their dot matrix/led type display on the rear of the Bib car.

Is this a new policy the Bib are enforcing or just one good cop (haha excuse then hollywood styleee pun)

either way to whoever the were on the M1 today.

Brilliant

A thought: if twonk was a true numpty (more than likely), they probably would interpret "use left lane" message as 'middle lane closed', so you can bet they will be back hogging lane 2 soon enough. Perhaps a quick pull reminding them of highway code could be better?

Why cant they have one that says "Keep your speed down" rather than scameras...?

Oh, I forgot, there aren't enough real police around anymore

I wonder if the dot matrix/led type display on the rear of the Bib car is wide enough to display

"staying in the middle lane for any particular reason you 2@?"

I'm sure some sort of scrolly message can be arranged.

I had the 'pleasure' of seeing that a few years back on the M4. I think he was too busy following somebody else, but I got flashed by an unmarked car and then shown 'slow down' on his dot matrix. Thank you.

I won one of those scrolly message board thingies in FHM years ago.
I used to thank people for closing the gap when overtaking, "suggest" they may want to use the inside lane and all sorts of anger inducing nicey nicey comments lol.
The problem with it was it would NOT let me use any expletives....it knew them all, even the colloquial northern expression like ****, ******** & ***** **** *********** ****.

Firstly, the bugger would have to catch me up and THEN get in front of me - unlikely
