Peanut butter chicken

My wife does a peanut sauce or soup as it is known in Afro-Carribean circles. Very yummy, can have potatoes in it for a complete meal. Also can be beef or pork as well as chicken & freezes well.
I have a recipe somewhere I'll turn out.
Thanks. A quick look on google and all the recipes seem to be spicy, or contain curry or coconut... I was hoping to cook up the basic version but until I find my mothers recipe, wasn't sure how to go about starting the sauce. I have a recipe somewhere I'll turn out.
The recipe, alter bits of this to taste, fantastic especially in this weather!
