I'm looking for a lotus driving day/experience for the girlfriend. Been searching around using google but whilst there are loads out there non really offer much driving. Personally don't think 5 laps for £120 worth it. Happy to pay more for a longer drive but can't really find any except for buying two experiences

Just looking for some advice from people who have done one and where. Location is preferred south of the country but even further afield midlands up north as sure can always make a short break out of it.

If she's lucky and I think she's done good might let her have a drive of my cerbera, but its a big maybe.

Peter.

Give CarLimits a call (http://www.carlimits.com) and I'm sure they can sort you out with an Elise, training and hooning.

The Silverstone Academy might still be using their Exige Ss for this sort of thing, you could give them a call. It depends what you're after - this will cost more, but will give an hour or more of actual driving time and proper tuition, none of the crap you tend to get on "experience" days, which I would definitely avoid if you're trying to build her skills.

If you're willing to stretch the budget to get better value then Lotus Academy run their own days including a tour of the factory at Hethel.

I have not been but have heard very positive things about the day.

You can either do an 'experience' or a level 1 (300 and 500 respectively)...

Well once we've been I'll be sure to post some photos of the day up, the Elise is her favourite car so want to treat her, plus she closes her eye when in my cerbera so should give her an experience to remember and stop her freaking out

The lotus factory one would be the best one, but is she worth that much biggrinbiglaugh

Walk not a dealership, let them see the TvR, tell them you're thinking of buying an Elise, for the lady, and get her a test drive...for free!
