Yeah I was watching. As you say, nearly always a car dealer. There are some surprising ones on there some time, last week they went to either boeing or airbus can't remember which.

Airbus were the company they visited, £42,000 owing.

Direct Line insurance today.....owed 40k.

Its amazing how many people are prepared to lie and cheat their way out of paying debts.

Another big airline today, easy jet, their debt was pathetic though, just over a grand I think.

There's barely an episode that goes by without a secondhand car dealer. It just goes to show that you should always do your homework.

I find it surprising that people would go to half these people anyway!

Haha, yeah I thought that too. I once had a car that didn't turn off when you took the key out, turned out to be a bad earth.

I just think of this. Just watch it instead of that rubbish.

"The Sheriff's a coming"

"
"Hey! The sheriff's a n....."
"What did he say"
"He said the Sheriff is near"

"......no dangnammit I said the Sheriff is a n......."

Today a 'High End ' car dealer in London was featured. Just a slight change of name got them out of paying £30+k. Amazing this is allowed to happen - remember Verdi when they were on?!

I caught this by coincidence in a coffee room this morning. It's worried me as I bought my car from 'them' in July. Their website is still up and running.

Yep, sadly it's an all too common practice. The same people running the same business from the same premises just with the slightest of name changes and there's not alot they can do about it. It seems they do try their best though, when people say it's a different company and all property belongs to the new name they ask them for itemised proof that the new company bought the items from the old, otherwise they sieze them anyway.

i really do not like the way these things work . so the business owes £10k . these shaven headed thugs turn up and threaten to remove £100k worth of stock which will be sold at auction . sounds a little unreasonable .
yes i know they should have paid up in time but times are tough. but it all seems a bit much
