I used Warranty Direct on my e39 m5 - complete waste of money
Agree 100%what they have emailed to me
•Do they have a Wear and Tear exclusion?
•Do they have a Consequential Loss exclusion?
•Do they cover failures found in an annual Service or MOT?
•Do they cover the cost of diagnostics on all valid claims?
•Do they have an overheating exclusion?
•Do they guarantee 100% of the hourly labour rate?
•Unlimited claims up to the value of the vehicle?
•FSA regulated?

also they assure me they cover the clutch, flywheel, oil pump, vanos etc etc
this is the thing. it sounds great but i want real experiences of why it isnt.
BMW isnt an option.

Why is that? afaik the car doesn't need a full BMW s/h history if that was the reason. But it must have been serviced according to the recomended service intervals & my paperwork says less than 100k miles when you take it out (for the comp warranty)Tim330 said:

The BMW warranty isn't that good actually
I am using the "put the £100/month it would have cost in the bank" warranty
Completely disagree. I have never had a single issue with claiming for anything.I am using the "put the £100/month it would have cost in the bank" warranty
