Burns Night

As its tomorrow who's having a Burns night supper, I am but not till Saturday night as I'm working Saturday am.

I'm cooking it for a mate and his Russian wife so we shall see what she makes of haggis neeps and taties.

Plus its an excuse to hit the whisky. I have a virgin bottle of Arran 14yr old and a Rioja casked Ben Riach to get on with.

me and Mrs 2CV... i've successfully intro'd the sassenach to the wee beastie and she can't get enough (!).

Whisky cheese and scots crackers
Haggis, neeps and tatties with 'gravy'... the missus has insisted on a whiskey cream sauce rather than neat though this year
clootie dumpling and double cream
a lot of ardbeg!
