Burnishing satin lacquer
Discussion
Erm, any kind of abrasion is going to polish it as you suggest - and therefore remove the satin effect. Maybe sand it after polishing to restore the satin finish? There must be a way to finish satin paints as presumably they'd need denibbing etc like normal paints? Perhaps Kelly KDS knows (he tends to know most things ;-) ).

You wont be able to denib it. Use an anti-static cleaner, usually alcohol based, before coating, and wear a Tyvek suit, makes a massive difference. I use a Tyvek outside and some jobs I dont even need to denib!
Already do all this the booth is uber clean like a science lab. One small bit and the panel will be rejecteddomster said:

As said on here already , satin and matt paint you cant de-nibb Dom . Nightmare really it has to be perfect out of the gun, small areas and panels not so bad , but complete car respray is a different matter.
