The winter is coming and my chim 400 will be put away until next year. It will need some servicing / maintinance done, the Body work, stone chips waxoiling etc are no problem, but i was wondering weather to service the engine, i.e.(change oils plugs belts and so on)my self, or take it to a dealer / professional. Any advice would be welcome. I am would be fairley confident as i service my everyday cars myself, but I am wondering if there is more to it than meets the eye.

This is a very simple engine to service everything is accessible. I have even put in an uprated cam myself. You need Steve Heath's book and a Range Rover Workshop Manual is useful.
