Having a few issues at the mo,you boys will shoot me but i was considering letting my baby go
,the trouble is i just dont use her and i hate seeing her all dusty in my garage which is 20 miles away. The next issue is i fancy an evo 6,
now i know there is no comparison between a cerb and an evo......but why am i thinking this.Ive done this in the past with cars so why do our brains let us carry on with it.Anyway at this moment in time i dont think i can bring myself to sell her as my wife says im stupid to let my car go as i will never get another one like it again. Can you all please talk some sense into me and let me know where im going wrong in the mental issues department, thanks in advance spongy

,got a guy who says he must have the car.....its not been out much but this fella has seen the car and managed to get hold of me while i was in the garage........made me an offer there and then,my saving grace is im not bothered by money offers as money aint the be all and end all in my world.Think i will keep the car but it did make me think.

Mods shut this down so he cannot talk himself out of it. JOB DONE!

I tried to give up TVR's a few years ago when I bought a 355, but firmly back in the fold these days with 3... and a Mini Cooper S for the snow and 4 seats when needed (only small friends).
That's worrying for my collection tomorrow - my S-Type is infinitely better than the BMW Mini in snow which I have down as pretty much useless based on experience with best pal's ex Mini Cooper (not S). Presumably the Mini is better than the TVRs then if that's what you have for the snow! That must make the TVR pretty terrible by logical deduction. Gulp. Tomorrow will test my snow driving prowess to the limits.

Lol, last year I had a VXR8 for my snow car. You guys brought up with front wheel drive/4wd and ABS make be laugh, the mini is a pussy cat in slippery conditions. I've driven TVR's on many occasions in the snow too, but choose not to these days more due to protecting them from the salt than slipping about, that part is fun! That must make the TVR pretty terrible by logical deduction. Noooooo you will get board of the jap plastic interior in no time. It will be much faster point to point than any cerb due to silly grip levels. I think you need to go to that garage stand back and look at the orange beast for a few moment. Warm her up and give that throttle a blip and report back how your feeling then.
As for Mini's in the snow our cooper s is first class very grippy little beast. What tyres were on your pals? We have avons ,great all year round even in the depths of winter in Argyle.
But got the rangie when it all gets to deep.
