Am I the saddest Porsche owner? I've just spent 2 hours removing thick snow and ice off my cover just so I could remove it to look at my car for a few minutes then cover back up!!!! I've not driven it in 5 weeks and miss it!

Meanwhile, my missus is decorating!

By all means share your own questionable experiences biggrin

I've just spent 2 hours washing mine all for the good work to be undone when I take it out later!

Just can't stand seeing salt all over it.

Mine is tucked up in the garage, but isn't shiny at the moment as I took it out just before the snow came. I really wanted to give it a wash and polish today, but didn't have the hours that I would have wanted to have spent on it.

If it was a 924 under the cover then Yes.

Cayman R under the cover, completely understandable.

I haven't driven mine in over 6 months as the weather has been to bad. But I've got a trip booked to the Stelvio Pass and the Ring in May.
Counting the days and watching as many YouTube clips, to keep me amused.

Might be taking the Boxster out tomorrow to Cross hands for PH breakfast meet, it needs a good run out to clean the discs, It's been Idle for a few days to long now.

Yes you are strange, i on the other hand have stood in the garage and squeezed myself around all corners of the car looking at it beer in hand biggrin.
The difference is nobody can see me in the garage so it didn't happen laugh.
To be honest mine hasn't moved for 6 weeks from its cocoon of cleanliness. I do genuinely believe a garage is more of a curse than a benefit rolleyes

I'd check my Stelvio plans - it usually closed until June.
We tried on 24th May 2012 and it was closed so we used the Offenpass instead.

I was so devoted to my Cayman I made this little homage before letting her go....

Believe me, having a garage would be a luxury and definitely not a curse. All the hassle surrounding an OCD for car cleanliness when it lives outside almost makes it not worth the hassle of owning a nice car...but not quite biggrin

Last year I locked my 993 c4s away for 5 months, this year have used every week because I feel I have to just enjoy and not preserve!

My 2 month old Porsche is absolutely filthy whilst my nearly 5 year old e92m3 is sat next to it in the garage immaculate and with a cover over it. Even I don't understand the sense in that.
