Does anyone know the history on these 2 cars, they are expensive but other than viper green RS this is my favourite colour choice?

The 997.2 car was owned by Factorypilot. Try a PM to him.

£80k for 17.5k miles, you have to really like the colour.

Are they both really overpriced?

Edit - I guess the non OPC one is quite a bit more expensive compared to other cars of the same age/miles.
If I had £80k in my pocket I'd probably have the OPC one... Hang the cost....

Depends upon your point of view. The 991 GT3 is expected to be announced in a few weeks and equally is expected to make even an £80k GT3 look like quite a nice price...

I can't believe that Riviera Blue cars STILL for sale. Must have been for sale for three years. I have know idea why - it's beautiful. Originally for sale at Morgan cars and I see its still one owner, so obviously never sold it.

I've had my car almost two years and remember dreaming of owning a gt3, staring at this one. Six months later I bought my white Club Sport

Funny how some cars just aren't taken?

I personally think that both cars look fantastic in RB and it's a colour which would be on my list for certain if I was in the market for one.

GT cars for certain really suit bold hues.

I wondered whether the gen 1 car was the one for sale at Morgan cars that was up for sales forever..

Tbh i am looking for a gen 2 car and at that price and miles it's way too expensive (for me) at the moment.

A lot of the stock at Williams in Cardiff is on SOR. They rang me up a while ago when I had a BMW for sale - they got me in with the promise of a decent purchase price which quickly turned into a derisory offer. They were very eager for me to give it to them on a SOR basis though. Personally didn't like the guy at all.

Riviera and Mexico blue are easily my favourite Porsche colours - just perfect on GT3s and RSs. Sorry I can't help with the histories, but great choice and happy hunting!

I was at Parr when the Williams car was having it's Cargraphic exhaust fettled last August. It's most definitely unsilenced but it's a bit too much for my liking: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tOfaZyLudg

Is this definitely that car? Beautiful colour and really surprisese that it's not sold. It was up for a reasonable price toward the end of its tenure at Morgans?

100% it's a very specific spec, right down to the blue vents, half leather buckets and RS wing. The silly decals have disappeared thankfully.

I love it. But was really after a CS when I bought mine.
