Tesco sell a version of this for £9.99 in their big stores.
Not sure on the max weight as nothing was stated but I've had 100Kg hanging off it no probs (75Kg me + 25Kg weight). Had it over a year. It won't last but I'm guessing it should be good for a few more years yet...

Cool thanks,I'll check it out. I'm 12.5 stone so should be fine. It's to assist me in being fit enough for my basic training at HMS Raleigh! Have to do 39 sit ups in two minutes, which I can just do, but I'd like to be able to comfortably exceed that. Tesco sell a version of this for £9.99 in their big stores.

Don't use it for situps. It's crap. There might be an image of a guy doing this with it wedged in a doorqy, but take it from me, it's only good for pull-up stuff.
Use it for hanging leg raises and practice Abs crunches on the floor. When you come to do full situps you will blast them easy, despite not practicing them directly.
Or find a sofa to wedge your feet under.
