Lots of Car Magazines

Hello

I have about 150 car magazines I need to get rid of mainly top gear as well as some evo, autocar, car etc...

Do these have any value at all was thinking of sticking them on as one massive job lot on ebay to ger rid of them as better than just taking them to the tip!

IME they can be hard to shift for cash. You might get £20 for the lot but I doubt you'd get much more (unless you've got some really desirable issues)

I had a stockpile of around 400 motorcycle magazines a few years back from a time in my life when I was travelling a lot so buying every magazine every month.

I concluded that they're only worth anything listing them laboriously on eBay detailing articles covered etc...

In the end I decided to stick them up on freecycle, I saved a trip to the tip and a local lad was really pleased with his newly acquired reading matter. Win win.

You might get a few quid for them on Gumtree, but I wouldn't hold out much hope.
Unless they're old (IE pre 80s) they're pretty worthless tbh.

If I can get £15/20 and someone takes them off my hands I don't mind I shall give gumtree a try

Worrying thing is I worked out that I have spend nearly 1k on magazines in the last 4 years horrible

D1bram is right ( above ) when he says you will achieve more listing them individually but they will take longer to shift and you probably won't sell them all. If you have a full set of one type they will fetch the most - mixed job lots tend to fetch the least overall

Not concerned about overall to be honest have nearly every top gear from last 3-4 years will stick on ebay/gumtree collection only see what they get if its something silly like £20 will just donate to cancer research

Take them to doctors, dentists, A&E etc. It's usually just naff mags aged at either middle aged women or teenage celebrity fanatics!

I'd give you £15 if you were near or in Edinburgh but I do like my old car mags so not sure how many other people would
