Damaged my chrome any ideas.

Hi I wonder if someone can help, today I decided to clean the green mould off the roof of my cabriolet so I used some Milton steriliser on the roof and it seemed to get rid off most of the mould, but the problem is I also got it on the chrome, so now I have water marks (tarnish) which I can't seem to remove.

I tried a bicarbonate kitchen cleaner paste, I've also tried bathroom stainless steel cleaner and a bit of metal cleaner and a bit of wax but to no avail.

Would anyone have any ideas on what to use.
