front grill

I was just wondering what peoples opinions are on the front grills on early chims, best the way they are, or maybe a different colour or a different material?
Twas just thinking when its off to tidy it up

I tried a different colour and anything apart from black looks naff.

I like the open mouthed, "no grill" look but you should protect the rad internally.
