so the dreaded letter arrived from LV yesterday, it had gone up about £10 since last year, not too bad I guess

so I rang them and ask for them to requote as thought it was too high, so now its below £350 for the year saving me £55 which is nice on a sunday morning smile

Its always worth doing that with insurance companies. My quote from Admiral last year was hundreds cheaper then anyone else, but still a fair amount of money. I called them up, said i thought it was a little expensive and they took about £50 off!

My Admiral insurance went upto £550 for a Yaris! Phoned them up to say it was I could get it for £250 with LV. Chap said he would get a requote and he said it was now £620!? I told them there and then what they could do with their quote and moved to LV.
