Cleaned the A5 & the Mini today & my car history

Well I have been visiting Pistonheads for a long time; I found it in about 07 and joined in May 2011.

Anyway being a Sunday with nothing interesting to do i thought we would give the cars a good clean go for a drive and take some pictures for my first post in Readers' Cars.


Anyway where it all began

My first car

Ford Escort 1.6

Then Came the Fiesta zetec s




I loved that car done some miles in it visited lands end, john o'groats and Cardiff not all at once though!!!!!

Then my sensible head kicked in whilst looking for a new car, as well as insurance and the fact that I seemed to be racking up the miles, so I bought this when I was 20

Audi 2007 A4 2.0 Tdi



Kept that about 20 months but it bugged me that it wasn’t a Quattro, wasn’t fast and it just didn’t have enough toys..
I did want the 2.0T Quattro but the insurance was ridiculous

Then came the A5


Collection day sorry its a phone picture

This corrected the faults of the first Audi. it’s faster, it’s a Quattro it’s got some toys and more importantly less sensible.

The discovery



This was an impulse buy a mate of a mate was selling it and have always wanted a landrover so I came home with this the next day
Had some fun in it got stuck in the beach went Greenlaining. it also came in handy when I did some work on my mum’s house.
Sold it the day before the mot ran out on eBay and they said they were going to ship it to the Congo.

And there we have it cleaned the Audi and the Mini (Girlfriends Car) today and took some pictures

Very nice, A5s do look nice in white.

Nice write up, however I'm not a fan of the A5s styling I never have been.

The mini though, I'm liking that, regret selling our JCWS in the same colour
