Love the gauges underneath. One of first things I loved about the interior.

I've got rid of the clock for a oil temp gauge and have a SPA digital gauge for the water temp oil pressure.

Personally think the dash works very well.

A number of us have changed the clock for oil temp gauges. A couple have even swapped the eyeball air vent for a gauge. There are. Few owners with full digital gauge set ups which, whilst look smart (especially at night) IMO they don't suit the Cerb interior. It all looks 'digital' in an analogue interior.

I should have give the reason for moving the clock and fuel gauge
I drive with a prosthetic leg and due to how the leg fits means it catches on the clocks

So you're talking about removing the entire lower pod?

Power to you Jim!
I'm recovering from shoulder& back surgery & I find it hard getting out of the car, it must be a real struggle for you.I have a friend who has the same as yourself & unfortunately for him he can only drive yank 6litre pick-ups for easy access...well his wife believes him;) Jim I'll nominate you as most dedicated Cerb Driver of the month!

It is a shame though about the position of the dials as they are a "Cerbie" feature imo.

Oh I see now bionic Jim. It's a give away now.

Could easily redesign the upper instrument panel to take some more dials. Would need to make a new blank then add the dials in. Really only need the fuel one so could have the speedo and rev counter. The dual gauge and fuel.

That would be the simplistic way to adapt it.

The multi function digital ones would be perfect then, without the need to chop the dash about if you didn't want to upset the 'balance' (hark at 'me' talking about Cerb DIY! hehe)

Can the lower pod be permanently removed?

I think I saw a picture on here of someone who had put 3 dials in between the top level of the dash and teh next one down, right in the middle and angled towards the driver a biot, looked really good, may have been the oil temp guage group buy thread IIRC.

PMSL
That reminds me of when I go to the hospital there was a spotty face kid of about 17 moaning like mad in the waiting room about his finger that he broke to any one who would listen
I stud up and removed my jacket so all the scaring on my arm was on display
Then started to re arrange my jeans as to flash my carbon and titanium leg
He shut up strait away then when the old lady sat next to him got up she thanked me
Lol

Chears mate
Back to the gauges though
I do think about going down the root of the new jag XF-XJ a single sheet display
And slightly moding the pod to fit it in

Sorry to hear that fella!! Ouch.. Good to see you can still enjoy your Cerb though!

There was a blue Cerb for sale recently in Kent with a stack dash..
