Gopro Hero3 - only 1 input

I got a hero 3 a few weeks back and promptly ordered a car charger and an external shotgun mic, complete with wooly afro thingy.

Only one 1 micro usb input so it's not possible to charge the camera and run the mic at the same time. Anyone know a way around this?

Yes but the problem is the H3 only has one mucro usb socket so it looks like it's one or the other.

Can the H3 use the H2 battery back?

That has another usb socket on it.

Yes it can. Expensive way of doing it for sure.
