Hello,

I'd like to ask whether anybody has ever sold a car through Four Star Classics or Munich Legends?

I'm considering selling my car through one of the two come spring, but would like to hear of people's experiences, so I can make an informed decision.

Even if you don't have any actual experience, are there any advantages one has over the other, that you know of?

Many thanks in advance.

M

Top lurking.

Ask here for a better response as at least one regular has had a lot of dealings with Four Star.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply.

Do you happen to remember who it was that's hed dealings with them?

Cheers,

I've bought from and sold through 4star and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Definitely worth giving them a call.

Aside from a couple of calls over the years to ML about cars they've had in stock, I've never had any dealings with them, so couldn't comment.

What's the car?

A friend of mine sold his CSL through Munich Legends and was very pleased with the service he got.

If it's the E46 M3 in your profile, I'd have thought you'd have more interest from ML.

Hi Gruber,

That sounds good, thanks.

The car isn't anything particularly exotic - it's just an E46 M3, but may be of interest to them given that it has only 40k miles, 2 previous owners, and a FBMWSH.

To be honest, the only reason I'm considering them is that I really can't handle the grief that comes with selling 'sporty' cars privately.

On a separate note, I came very close to getting in touch regarding your W124, but I understand that's sold in the meantime. It's certainly an itch I'll still need to scratch one day.

Cheers,

M

No worries!

It's worth giving them a ring and see what they say. I understand they're in the process of setting up a new brand, to sit alongside 4starclassics, focussing on low-mileage newer sportscars, so that's an option worth exploring with them.

As for the W124... "sale agreed", but it hasn't gone yet. If the sale falls through I 'll let you know.

Good luck with the sale of the M3. thumbup
