Breakfast shakes
Discussion
Right, I need some inspiration here.
I'm utterly useless at getting up in the mornings, and doubly so when it's for work
That being so, I rarely leave myself much time to have breakfast before I leave the house in the morning, which to be honest, kinda suits me anyway, as I generally can't face eating something straight away after getting up, so a cup of tea does the job then I grab something when I get to work. Trouble is, that "something" tends to be either a roll with sausage, or a croissant - not good!
So I came up with the bright idea of buying a blender and making a breakfast shake and this is where imparted inspiration is needed - I had a quick look online yesterday at recipies, but most of them don't really fill me with much enthusiasm and although I could just have a protein shake, I'd rather not.
So, make me a breakfast shake please

Classic vitamin D deficiency. Fix that and the rest, like getting up, will tend to itself.

I'm exactly the same... I will watch this thread with interest I'm utterly useless at getting up in the mornings, and doubly so when it's for work

Even at 32 I still struggle to crawl out of bed a grumpy incoherent mess... I leave it as late as possible every morning, always have done. Up at about 8:20am, 20 minutes to have a shower, clean teeth and get dressed etc, then leave house and arrive at my office for 8:55.
I feel like I've been run over by a train every morning without fail, and sometimes feel so tired when I get out of bed I stumble about for the first minute or so. Eating anything before 10am is pretty much out of the question!
If left to my own devices I would sleep till 11am like a teenager.
I'm generally in bed by 11pm, and asleep not long after so I'm getting 8-9 hours sleep a night.
I think I'm a bit strange

Drink 1-2 litres of egg whites from a carton you big sissy!
Or you could get up at a reasonable time and have something more tasty.
Personally my body usually wakes at around 5.30-6am and then I'm up and I make scrambled eggs (6-8 eggs) and when I'm losing weight I go for a run on the beach but I'm also blessed with an iron will which genuinely does make it easy.

Due to my usual commitments I have sometimes only have enough time after tennis to shower and dash into work so I drink a fortisip, they are delicious, quick to drink and genuinely fill me up unil I get home from work and can have a proper meal.
I also have one if I don't have time for breakfast or don't want anything lying heavy on my stomach before playing a match.
