Plenty,plenty,plenty of work.

laugh C'mon anyone fancy a project.

Vehicle enquiryThe enquiry is complete.
The vehicle details for J786 CNW are:
Date of Liability 01 11 2004
Date of First Registration 02 03 1992
Year of Manufacture 1992
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 3952cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker N

Vehicle Colour RED

Hmm would be a nice long term project and would be good to save one.

Some people should not be allowed to own such things and wreck them in the way they do. Pretty much like kids, there should be an exam showing folk are capable of the responsibilty it incurrs.

Blimey. Now THAT is what you call a project.
Sits a bit high for an ex race car don't you think.

Agreed Ian sits tall even without any weight inside, looks like the battery is in the boot, how people treat cars is beyond me sometimes.

So what would a tatty standard 4.0 be worth, about 6Kish?

Given the work to do to this car it isn't worth a lot of anyone's money, probably given that it's in France not much more then
It's up for at the moment.

Wish I had the space/time for a long term project, OK it would never be worth while to return it to factory condition but for a fun custom car it is a great starting point. No worries that you could make a mess of a good car!!

If its an ex racer then why should it be in good condition??? Racers only have to look good from >10m away, looks ripe to be turned back into a track car to me!

Have you HPI checked the car, or do you know some detail of its history.

Was interested so ran it through HPI just to check. It would be good to save a griff but the amount this car will need and then it being a write off for me just its just to much.

I know it sounds daft, but people seem happy to take a good car to start with and strip it, upgrade to an LS3, alter and refurbish the chassis etc. At least this way you save a few notes on the purchase price.
