cost of a Mini bumper fitted?

My sister did the same in her BMW Mini ( I assume you are referring to this type of Mini) BMW wanted £800 to supply new rear bumper (well the plastic thing we all think of as bumpers anyway)
This was to supply, paint and fit the new part and parking sensors.
Thought it was a tad steep so I went onto e-bay, bought a BMW Mini bumper for 99p - I kid you not - took it to the local spray shop who then painted it for me for £200 - and I fitted it myself. If I remember correctly there were 4 screws to undo.
She was over the moon that I had 'fixed' fixed her car for her - especially when I showed her the PayPal invoice for 99p.
My advice - shop around and try to get some prices before you let BMW replace it.

The fog light will clip back in to place, bumper spray would be £150 or thereabouts.
Unfortunately, depends what the body shop decide needs done. There's an ally support bracket in the middle of the bumper bar which will probably have snapped. Can weld it back on, but they might play on it and decide it needs a new one. A skin new is iirc about £100, facelift one on eBay more like 50. Again depends on the body shop.
MINIs are actually remarkably sturdy at the back, I got walloped at ~50mph and it only knackered the skin, said bracket and the foglight.

Ah, my advice was based on an R50/53, dunno for an R56.
Feel free to expand your question. Car behind me in testing burst a brake hose at the hairpin at Knockhill, which is a 95mph approach. I was milliseconds off turn in having finished braking down to ~35mph. Assume she scrubbed a bit of speed before the hose popped, but when you bruise your chest with the chin of your helmet, you know it was a hard one.

Someone dented the bumper on my Mini, so I took it off and hit it with a hammer it until it was approximately the right shape again. Something went very, very wrong with bumpers over the last couple of decades. emicen said:

I'd still be curious about how you arrived at that closing speed because I simply don't beleive that such minimal damage could occur from a 50mph crash... The NCAP crash tests are carried out at 40mph and usually everything forward of the 'A'-pillars is deformed to some degree.
Enter braking zone at 95mph, turn in for corner is at 35mph. Speed difference is 60mph, the other driver reckoned their brakes went pretty much as soon as they got on them, hence I'll knock off 10mph.
Euro NCAP crash tests are done at 40mph in to a stationary object which doesnt move, as I said, I was a millisecond off turn in [which would have put her car probably in to the side of mine which would have been a whole other ballgame]. In any case, that meant I was off the brakes so got propelled forward with ease from the impact.
A further aid to my car's lack of damage was the offset in front to rear ride height we run. The front end of the car that hit me didn’t fare so well:

To be honest that does answer my question, the results would've been quite different if you had the same accident in a factory standard car.I think a 50mph rear-ender with two standard MINIs would result in rear panel/boot lid/boot floor damage.
just a lil update
she called 11am saying that the repair shop wouldnt give her a quote as they wouldnt be able to advise what damage had occured underneath
further more she had been to doctors and it was confirmed she was suffering from whiplash and for some reason her workplace had told her to go through insurance since the accident happened during work time.
so hence off to the insurance we go.
