Rav 4 v CR-V

Hi, First post and I am asking for some advice please. I am looking to change my car and have been looking at the RAV 4 and the CR-V, the age I would be looking at would be 2002 - 2004 and would be looking at Diesel, 5 door. What are you thoughts on both and is there anything specific I should be looking out for.
