I've just found a micro switch

I've just found a micro switch under the dashboard to the right of the steering column.

Does anybody know what it does?

I'm frightened to switch it off or on in case i blow something up....

Photo is probably best as this is what I consider a micro switch and are usually used to detect a movement

A microswitch is a momentary action switch used to detect a movement.
I think Blackfeather must have mistaken a "minkyswitch" for a microswitch.
Whatever I've got no bloody idea what its for!

If it truly is a micro switch then I've no idea but if it's a normal switch (similar to a light switch) then it might be switching the ECU signal to the exhaust valve. I had this fitted at Hever last year by BR's Adrian - it's just a little way behind the fuel filler cap button. Allows me to switch "fuse 22" mod on and off when in motion.

It's possible it might be the same thing that the previous owner fitted?
