Hi Guys,

Hoping you can help. The parents 997 C2 developed a misfire, which didnt get sorted for about 1500 miles. So booked it in at the indy, new coilpacks, and plugs, misfire is gone, but now cant accelerate past 50mph ish. Any ideas on this, its got dad a little worried.

Thanks

Have you put an OBD2 ECU reader to read the error code?

Might be either the coil packs may not have been seated correctly or the code has not been reset since the coil packs have been fitted (not sure if this prevent acceleration)???

If the symptoms appeared right after the coils/plugs take the car back to the indy. Something got screwed up during the service.
