So at first we had people driving with head lights on.

Then we had head lights and fog lights.

Then we come to the latest fashion of side lights and fog lights.

Well on my commute to work we have a new kind of clown, driving some kind of Mitsubishi, complete with Chav stickers, this tool is driving with just fog lights, the fact his tail lights work, suggests he has somehow disabled the side lights.

Some newer cars have these LED things on the front and come on with the ignition. Some people rely on these as dusk falls and forget no tail lights are on.

It could be that his foglights are in fact sidelights. A lot of new cars (started with the new MINI, now lots of VAG products as well) do not have foglights fitted, and the sidelights are fitted where the foglights would have gone in the past.

Or if its an old car and he really is as chavvy as the OP makes out, he's simply removed his side lights.

I should clarify, this Mitsubishi is about 10 years old, and they are most defiantly not LED DRL's, and they are way too bright for side lights.

I don't particularly have an issue with people driving around with head lights and fog lights, I have never found them dazzling, but side lights and fog lights, and now this clown, do bug me.

A friend of mine bought an 04 fiesta back in October. We were at a mate's, and I'd had a few, so he was giving me a lift back. Driving out of the car park, I couldn't figure out why he kept going for the light switch when cars approached. I soon realised, and I kid you not, that he didn't know how to dip the headlights. So he'd been driving around for a week using his fogs and high beams laugh

Of course, he also thought that the "climate pack" that car had, meant it had climate control. He was utterly baffled when I pointed out that the heater knob was standard, and he had a heated front windscreen...

Bless him, great guy but not good with cars. rofl
