Netflix or lovefilm, both as good as each other?

Panasonic Veira tv. What it the easiest way of streaming films from one of the providers mentioned above without using laptop/hdmi (?) cable. Is there a cheap wireless box that plugs into the tv and can be used?

Can't be bothered with complicated solutions...... Just the easiest/quickest way of getting films on the tv. (Not asking for much)...

Help/advice much appreciated!

Buy a Smart Blu-ray player.

I have an LG BP520 I think it was, £60. Plays 1080p MKV files from USB and will also stream LoveFilm, Netflix, Youtube etc etc etc. Very fast and easy to use.

Plays full 1080p were applicable in streaming too, its a good Blu-Ray player too.

Lovefilm for their selection of films, Netflix for their selection of TV shows.

NOWTV is a good shout if you're more interested in the latest films as they use Sky Movies as their catalogue.

Are Lovefilm and Netflix only available in the UK, I mean within Europe, in the UK?
Are they subject to geolocator issues like iPlayer?

No idea whether they're only available in the UK - however with Netflix I know the US site has a bigger selection - so it does seem to provide content based on where you are. Whether that is billing address or IP I'm not sure.

Thanks, menguin.
If the US site loads up, it's probably blocked by cc billing address.
Still. I have family in the US, so I do have options.

Sorry op for the hijack. smile

Netflix is IP based.
I can get US content with a UK account, they don't appear to have an issue with this. I think it's to do with licensing restrictions to the providers rather than what NF want.

A proxy is your friend.

Nice! Thanks for that, I'll be able to get a free upgrade now!

Excellent - I already use a UK proxy for iPlayer and a mate's SkyGo account smile
