1 hour lunch workout
Discussion
I have no time in the morning due to the commute and the same goes for the evening, weekend I often kite buggy.
Sometimes I will use the park and ride, but bike the three miles in to work, but sad to say only in fair weather.
I get one hour for lunch and I am looking for ideas, there is a gym local.
I dont want to get back to the office in too much of a mess but would like to make the most of the hour I have. Any goods ideas..

If you go to the gym in the lunch hour you'll lose half the time with getting there, getting changed and getting back.
I think your time would be best used by going for a walk, especially if there are any hills nearby. If you spend the whole hour walking briskly you're looking at 340 calories, which is going to be a similar burn to half an hour of something really high intensity.

What do you want to achieve? You can do anything from an hour's walking to HIIT to weights, but without knowing what you want to achieve, it's difficult to suggest anything.
Personally, I'd be going for a run, but then I'm training to race so lunchtime exercise is based round that.
Edit: HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training.

Look up High Intensity Interval Training. Probably not good to do if you are very unfit but it will get you fitter. Losing weight will all depend on your diet. eat less calories then you burn every day. HIIT is basically explosive exercising, doing an exercise at full pace/speed. Any exercise would work, swimming, doing burpees/lunges, cross trainer, rowing etc..
