I have an Renault F7R (2.0L twin cam) engine in a Williams Clio that I believe needs cam followers and a new oil pump and would like to attempt the repair myself - I haven't built an engine before (but changed a coupe of head gaskets)and can't find a book on it either. I have the haynes manual but as the cams will be out I thought I could change them at the same time and that wouldn't be covered.
Can anyone recommend a book that contains the correct procedure I need to follow to re-build with new followers and time up new uprated cams w/pulleys (if needed?) eventhough not specifically for this engine?
The closest I can find are -
