Where to buy B&W film these days?
Discussion
Hi folks;
I've been a bit extravagant this week and bought myself a Leica R5 with a Vario-Elmar 28-70 and a Hassleblad 500CM with the superb 80mm T* Planar.
I've not used film for a good few years now and usually use a Nikon D90 so I'm really looking forward to doing a bit of traditional photographic work again.
My question....
Now that Jessops have gone, where is the best place to buy some good B&W film (35mm and 120 roll film)?
Cheers
K

Thank you
Ilford FP4 and PanF still exist

Is XP1 extinct?
I'm getting mine from www.speedgraphic.co.uk, they're certainly prompt sending orders out. I've just put a roll of Delta 3200 in my AE1 to try out. The Zenith is being used for some expired bulk HP5 I found in my photography box.
Haven't processed any for about 10 years though. I've got the darkroom kit needed (enlarger takes up to 6x6 negs too), but no prospects of having the space to use it any time soon. After a suggestion on here a few weeks ago I'm considering getting a film/slide scanner, will probably start a thread asking for recommendations at some point but finding employment is a more immediate priority.

Just got a few rolls from Speedgraphic myself last week. Ordered at about 4pm so was pretty to suprised to receive them in the post the next day! I got a couple of rolls of Ilford pan f plus iso 50 for lanscapey stuff but I'm also giving the kentmere 400 stuff a go as well as it seems a great price. So much for the advice given in the 'Finance' lounge I've been a bit extravagant this week and bought myself a Leica R5 with a Vario-Elmar 28-70 and a Hassleblad 500CM with the superb 80mm T* Planar.

.Are you going to process and print at home?
I didn't do too badly though as a youngster, I saved and bought my first Bronica ETRSmedium format camera with an AE prism finder and a couple of lenses when I was 15. At age 17/18 I had a Pentax 6x7 and a Mamiya RB67. I started doing commercial photography when I was 18 or 19. I stopped a long time ago when I got married as I didn't have the time and concentrated on a different career.
Now, I'm looking to purely get back into some film photography as a hobby; I'd only do B&W D&P at home but I have done both B&W and colour in the past. I probably won't do any for a while but I've been looking at our bathrooms and wondering which would be easiest for conversion. I haven't broken that to Mrs K just yet
