I have a very slight leak from the seals at the bottom of the radiator. This leak is so slight, that when the car warms up, it's sealed. The rad itself is in perfect condition, but I'm being told that I have to replace the whole thing, not just the seals.

Anyone got any alternative? Thanks.

Not sure what seals you mean. You can have it reconditioned. I would remove it find out where it was leaking and if you can see any holes try a repair with the likes of plastic metal. I used that stuff in my chims rad and it lasted years as well as a euro trip as well.

Are you referring to where the pipes slot onto? thus not a great seal?
