I'm (last time I checked) 6ft 4 and wondered if I could fit/drive comfortably in this.

Anyone on here know anything relating to this?

Could this be a good first TVR for an absolute novice?

Regards

Looks nice.

I'm 6' and the our 3000M is fine once I'm in it!

Surprised the advert didn't say "never raced or rallied" wink

Try one on for size.

The seller did state "Please come and have a look."

Yes you'll fit/drive no problems, its the getting in and out thats the issue with older TVRs (gets worse with age as you get more portly!)

I'm 6ft1 and I find the steering wheel very close to my knees.

I can drive it, but it's not the best position.

I think my legs and arms have funny proportions though, as by the position of my arms I feel as though I need to go further back, but if I do, I wouldn't be able to press the pedals properly, and the seat would also not go back further. So just have to compromise, the fumes soon make you forget about it, biggrinbiggrin

Getting in and out is certainly a challenge sometimes, biggrin

I am 6'3 and have a 3000M, head room is fine (more than my mx-5) arms to wheel is near perfect position, however my long legs mean my knees brush the steering wheel and when turning, my hands on the wheel can clash with my knees. I can solve this with a smaller diameter wheel, but for now I have adapted driving style to drop and spread me knees when turning, this has almost became habitual now and just another fun part of owning these cars! you will never know until you give it a go!

The seat can be lowered by 15mm-20mm It usually sits on a blocks of wood, between it and the floor, removing the blocks will lower the seat.

I'm 6 ft 5 ins, and 110Kg, so not a small guy.....

I just about fit in my Vixen S3, but did have to lower the seats and have thinned the seat cushion in my rebuild. Also can make sure seats go right back to rear bulkhead, which they sometimes don't.

Didn't find steering wheel a problem for me - I guess it also depends on whther you have relatively long legs to the rest of your body.

At the risk of being reviled, the wedges are also good for tall drivers, I fit comfortably in my 280, so if you don't mind that style of vehicle, try out a wedge too.....

Cheers guys, they just look so small.

After some detective work, it belongs to a PH'er. It's going to be a few months before I have the funds available( persuaded the OH) to purchase my first TVR, but if this is still available, I will definitely consider it.
