TVR literature - whats good
Discussion
Depends what era you're interested in or just TVR in general. Both the Filby books are good, properly researched and mostly accurate as he takes the time to speak to those who where there.
The more I've learnt about TVR the more I realise most of the other books have errors and perpetuate myths but for general easy reading 'TVR - Ever the Extrovert' is quite good.

The two Filby books cover the early days and the Martin Lilley era respectively so probably not really of interest but they are a good grounding in why TVR developed as it did and why bankruptcy is nothing new.
Someone asked a similar question about a tuning book and I'm not sure there was a definitive answer which suggests tto me there isn't one, especially as few TVRs have 'standard' RV8s.
Lots of online resource though.

To be honest, most of the best knowledge about TVRs is held on these forums in one place or another. It would be a big task but pooling people's bookmarked topics and linking them together with an index of some sort would be an awesome resource to have - anyone off work and bored at the moment??

1990's period really.
I'll look those up you mention.
Any good RV8 tuning books? Like in the vein of David Vizard and his A series tuning book.
I have that A series book - fantastic. Something like this for the RV8 would be great. I purchased the Austec guide and CD. Some of the stuff is available on the web, other bits aren't. It cost me £5 is is quite useful. COuld do with larger images though.I'll look those up you mention.
