How do I know for certain my 987 has PSE ?
Discussion
After I had agreed to buy my car the seller said it had the PSE fitted which I suspected anyway as it sounded allot nicer than the other cars I'd looked at. I also took my dad to a local porsche specialist the other day and one of the guys there said "that sounds good, sports exhaust ? " it is a genuine Porsche back box definitely not an aftermarket system but just wondered if there was a definite way to know ? As I've been told contradictory things...
You should have a switch on the console that toggles PSE on and off.
Depending on your options it might be turned on by the "Sport" button.
It's quite clear when you have PSE fitted (unless its been modified to stay on) because you'll hear the flaps open and close depending on speed, etc

Best is to look under the bumper, in the left and right corner you should see the valves.
