I thought I read somewhere that the offset is different between front and rear wheels? Will these wheels be any good?

Yes rear 33 front 25 ..You can get away with it eather way .. These are 35 so if you want. 10mm spacers on the front can be fitted ..

I have some hubcentric 10mm spacers if anyone is interested .

I take it they would be discounted for me given the recent freebies? If you fit the spacers will the wheel studs be long enough?

When you change the wheels, presumably the rolling diameter changes unless you fit lower profile tyres to offset the change? How do you recalibrate the speedo or do people not bother?

Ran 17' Team dynamics on my last chimaera, did a check with my GPS speedo seemed un changed, only mod I needed to the steering rack stops, tyres kissed the arches on full lock otherwise

If you fit 215/40/17 front and 245/40/17 rear they will be within a few mm`s from standard ..

Daz, I'm confused, if the wheels are 35 already why would you want to put a 10mm spacer in, surely that will make them 45? I have phoned the guy up to arrange looking at them if they are still unsold but I don't want a problem with the fitting of them. cheers

Last run of the Griffith came with 16 'wheels front and rear, so et35 all round, I have 17 'et35 wheels with no issues, having said that not all bodies sit on the chassis square so some cars will have no problems clearance wise, others will ....

ET 25 sticks out 10mm further than 35 ,if you fit 10mm spacers on the front the ET will change from 35 to 25 ..I know people like Raceboy who run ET 35 all round with no problems . He has those very nice Ford Diamond cut alloys ,think there fitted to Sierra,Capri or something .

8J will be fine on front and rears with 245/40/15 and 215/40/17 very close to standard setup. Buy them for £300 sell the tyres and you will have a bargain ..
